Growing up as a child in the 70’s, I just missed the era of the 60’s sexual revolution. But here we are again. Its now 2024, and with all the talk in the news and on socials about sexual liberation, it feels like we have come full circle. People seem to be enjoying themselves in ways we haven’t seen in a long time. People are experimenting and feeling like they can be themselves sexually, this is an exciting time to explore ones sexuality. Gay people can feel free to express their feelings for one another, Lesbians can be themselves. I mean ok, it isn’t perfect I know, but its better. I have so many friends who openly discuss masturbation, having a one night stand isn’t unheard of, having an open relationship its exactly taboo anymore…So it gave me an idea, why not take things to the next level?!?
Beginning my own online toy shop has made me really feel a sense of contribution. Some prefer a less adventurous lifestyle, and that’s perfectly alright, but I would hate to think that someone likes a simple sex life because of the fear of what others might think. If you are enjoying it, or think you might, give it a go. At the very least, you should feel ok about talking to your partner(s) about it. We get messages all the time from people just like you….who say things like “Is it ok to use a vibrator on my partner?” or “Is it normal for my partner to want to lick me here or kiss me there?” The simple answer is, if you are both ok with it….then yes!
